I agree with you for the most part, but I'd have to add the M3, although a sedan, is quite a capable car. It surprised me a lot on track when I drove the M3/4 back to back.

Tbh if I didn't have the CAE shifter, I'd be bored of my E46 too. After a certain point you just grow accustomed to manual transmission and they don't exactly "excite" me like all the automobile...

Not sure how increased driving enjoyment is the same as a mechanical driving experience. I had a pretty enjoyable ride in DCT cars and majority of forum members wouldn't consider that "mechanical"...

Yeah I doubt it is. I've seen people run 18x9 18x11 on track with no issues or codes.

I'm running TE37's 18x9.5 with 265/35 squared. Haven't had any problems. I've also ran 255 front 275 rear on track and never had any problems.

From what I've researched, there is quite a difference with how they're made. Although the price difference is usually enough to stick to flow formed which is why my track wheels are apex wheels...

I would do all stock. That's what I ended up doing. I kept the OEM fan as well with a new clutch. Electric fans seem to be a hit or miss when you drive your car on the street/traffic.
