Re: Im looking to buy front air brake ducts and spacers

The brake ducts are $30, that's not too bad. If it is for you, you probably own the wrong car. Owning an old, German, sports coupe probably requires deep pockets.

Spacers? Probably just as easy to buy them new from ECS, or the dealer.

Re: Brake bleeding advice

Try using the pedal to pump some fluid out. With the bleeder, you’re looking at 25 psi, with the pedal, you’re looking at 1000. Just saying.

Re: New owner, couple of questions...

Ok, the question is how long are you going to own the car? Replacing the headliner isn’t hard, and you can buy really cheap material. But you end up with a cheap headliner that really won’t stand up...

Re: Shifter rod removal end exhaust manifold bolt question.

I wouldn’t. No need for grade 8, it’s not loaded, or critical. I’d use at least SS.

Jeez maybe that came out the wrong way...

He is free to do whatever he wants, but he asked. I don’t think I’d be driving a $100,000 E36... I never said it wasn’t worth it.

Re: Looking for an LTW in collector condition (less than 30k miles)

All I’m saying is the car you are looking for is a museum piece, an investment. Driving it will just make it a used car. And there isn’t anything actually special about a ltw. (Other than being...

Re: M-car Dream Garage

I trade my E36 and cash to get a new M5. Done. And I can stay below $100K.

Or,, Keep my E36, and add a E24 M6 and a E28 M5 (but that's kinda redundant with both having a S38), how about a E39...
