This might be an awful analogy, but the subframe being mounted onto sheet metal seems like the equivalent of hanging a TV from drywall instead of beams.

Does the bottom plastic under tray line up with the holes on the bumper? Your bumper kinda sits tilted where the bottom part comes out too much. That might be why the top part hits your hood.

My bushings are OE rubber. I've reinforced the floor with plates. The sound is gone when I put the seats down so it really makes me think it's from the seats or back shelf.

I've seen mine creep towards 3/4 when it's hot out and I'm going uphill in 1st or 2nd with the AC blasting in like 105F. Once I get some airflow it comes back down to center.

Trunk fits perfectly. STG diffuser.. not so much. The tabs are much shorter than the OEM diffuser.

This picture is shot with a wide angle lens. The outside of the frame is distorted and stretched compared to the center. While the m4 is obviously bigger than the e46, the image exaggerates it....

A lot of people with replica bumpers don't install the piping to the intake.

I put my horn behind the aluminum bumper carrier (VCSL 1) so it's shielded from water. Don't recall how the STG one...

Keep in mind the plugs/wires for the e39 lights and e90 lights are different. I learned that the hard way :)
