Re: Turner CSL intake?

Figuring out how to do everything the first time took more knowledge and experience than what most people have. Most people donít have to repeat that. I think most people here can do an IAT delicate,...

Yeah. It youíre saying headers are simple in comparison and theyíre... not. Iíd rather install a hundred air boxes before touching my headers again.

Re: PSA: know what you're getting into before buying a CSL style intake

If you have no idea what you're doing and how to wrench your own car, this car is borderline unownable in the first place.

What supercharger kit can you get for this car for $3k (roughly cost of...

Faster... sure. Runs properly is a stretch.

I'd rather just get an M2C at that point.

Re: Quick ďSucking Jet PumpĒ Question

If by blueish part you mean the thing that goes into the brake booster, you should be able to just pull that out. Takes a bit of force.

Re: PSA: know what you're getting into before buying a CSL style intake

Harness adapter shouldn't be necessary unless you're using an OEM CSL wiring harness. You could probably get away with modifying your stock shutoff valve and Crankcase breather hose with some generic...

Re: Turner CSL intake?

How much wiring do you think there is? Youíre basically doing an iat relocate and then adding 3 wires for a map sensor if you want to run the CSL software (which is not mandatory).

Headers were...

Not just Andrew Langís. Seems like bmw just never made English scripts for the CSL. Probably wouldnít be that hard to translate... except I have no idea how the ista / dis scripts are formatted.

I think money no object, the M3 would have stayed high revving N/A motors (consistent with its roots), and the M5 might have gone with turbos (given that with the exception of the s85, those engines...

If tuning properly means supporting hardware, yes. An M3 with stock cams and a stock exhaust (especially US exhaust) is not going to make dramatically much more power with a carbon airbox - the...

Rewiring is only necessary if you want to remove the module from your car.

Cool, shouldn't need to EWS delete then.

I did that and the one I installed preventively failed like 2 months later lol. Put the original back and it ran fine for years until I replaced the actuator (which came with a new TPS).

You can only sync EWS if the previous EWS info is wiped from the DME, which can only be done via BDM. It's unclear if Kassel is doing that.

That said, EWS delete is stupid easy, as is entering...

The lumbar itself shouldn’t impact height at all. Maybe your old cushions were worn in enough to take away some height?

Re: BMW Stainless Pedals (335is pedals) in E46

BMW Stainless Pedals (335is pedals) in E46

Just a quick DIY.

Edit: Except they didn't make the wagons in long-wheelbase.
