You would need to drop the transmission.... bell housing and all... you don't have to touch the clutch as it will stay on the engine. then you can just lift in the new transmission and bell housing...

Drexler is just sourcing me the gears along with the diff core. It was easier and cheaper this way as the shipping would be combined. Well until they said that they now can't get the gears haha.

I'm not sure which side you are talking about plugging but if you plug the rocker cover side then it will eventually over pressure with blow-by and blow out the rocker cover seal so it can breath......

How does it connect to your car? In the advert I see it uses an OBD plug which I don't want... I want to hardwire it in to the car...

Looks like you can convert Sketchup to Solidworks (my preferred 3D software):

I explained it in a bit more detail in a post over on M3Cutters but basically its impossible to find old ZF LSD's here in Australia...the only place I could find them was a place called DiffLab......
