Re: Switching to 0w40 or 5w40 for -20 degree winters

BMW LL01 is the spec you want it to meet.

Castrol’s 0w-40 meets it.
M1’s current 0w-40 formulation no longer does.

I run the GC 0w-40 in the winter in the M3 wagon and M5. They both sadly see...

Pretty sure that's true at any power level. DD a Bugatti, it'll feel slow after a couple months.

That's the last 3 years :)

There was a TON of stuff that changed (improved) over the production run of the car, but most of it was done by 2004.

BBKs are one of those things that aren't necessary, but once you've had one you can't believe you ever suffered through not having one.

You will not fade with track pads/fluid, ducting, floating...

The amount of track use is also 100% irrelevant to anything with regards to the vanos.

Re: The Most Fun For 15K

Lots of fun when you're in it, but not a lot of time in it under the best of circumstances.

Time adjusted, I think you can get a lot more fun/$ than that. Fun/minute, that's pretty unrivaled.
