Yes, but "same as ICE" is compromised. E.g. the model S is ~F10 5 series sized, but can have 3 seat rows AND a full size trunk (frunk).

I no longer daily the coupe, but I drive it in a variety of conditions (temp/altitude/humidity). It adapts to ambient conditions as well as the MAF car.

I don't know what he's referring to, but any EV that is installed in a ICE platform is going to be pretty significantly compromised compared to a car that is designed from the ground up as an EV....

It's 100% M3 mechanically and electronically converted-- so yes, including the diff.

It's pretty identical to the M3 in the snow-- fine with snow tires until you run out of ground clearance...

The e39 M5 is absolutely a driving experience compromise vs the M3. But, so is the e90 M3.

Yeah, but they feel completely unrelated. HPS vs EPS, mechanical diff vs computer diff, and the S65 define the driving experience of the F8X... and couldn't be more different than the S55.

Camber plates I知 running are $500. Came with the bearing iirc. Machines the spacers for myself, so idk what you値l get charged. Springs were ~$80 each, I think?

As in, my intuition says it takes a certain (absolute) amount to spin up a given weight a given speed. So while a light weight flywheel might give 2% less drive...

A lightweight flywheel doesn't increase horsepower, but it should increase wheel horsepower. It decreases rotational inertia, allowing more of the power to make it to the wheels.

Ha. On the e36 it happens with a completely stock car. On the e46 you need a wonky suspension setup (soft spring stiff sways) or poorly designed aftermarket parts (shock towers).

I would never live in VA because of their car laws.

The batteries are expensive enough, and the failure mode is potentially catestrophic enough, that I’d buy the correct trickle charger for future needs.

The bolded items were all things you could get from the factory on the M3 (and you could retrofit a heated steering wheel, as well-- I did that mod to my mom's 325iT).

My M3 is my most efficient...

That's the primary result. I'm reducing assistance by 25%.

It also decreases the pressure in the lines, which hopefully will end the e46 power steering sweats

I don't have a good feel for the units being used there, but elevated copper can only mean bearings on their way out, AFAIK.
