Pin #4 (brown/white wire) is the telephone mute.

It's triggered by grounding this pin.

So you can use anything to use this, like I did with my PDC activation.

Win version does't matter, as long as you are using the 32-bit version.

64-bit works too, but some older modules/tests use 16-bit scripts. The 32-bit Win versions support the older 16-bit stuff...

What error is displayed? It can be many things.

Is the correct interface set in ediabas.ini?

Have you added c:\ediabas\bin to your Environment Variables in Windows, or checked if they are set...

The nice thing is you don't an IBM laptop. I take it you say IBM as in, old laptop with native serial port (RS232).

The GT1 head connects through RJ45 cable, so any device with a port will do.

That's the old style tensioner for manual seats. That hook on the end of the cable hooks into the seat rail and prevents accidental activation of the tensioner with rapid/sudden movement of the seat...

So 15w50 for the 3.0. That's pretty high w number.

As M3AN mentioned, for the 3.2 only the specification it should meet.

Personally I use 5w40 in mine and only Fuchs Titan Pro S.

AC is independent from the heater i.e. aircon is used all year ‘round.

If the heater is on, regardless of AC being on, it will give you warm air.

You should be fine stiffness wise. There is no differerence.

Well, the M3 did get reinforced subframe plates, but that's it. You can retrofit these.

Modern airboxes are designed to be resonant. Removing the baffle could affect the powerband.

Whether it does anything in real life. I pulled mine years ago, but quickly put it back.

Grau is listed as discontinued. Black is still available.

This is where the independent ventilation may have saved you.

It doesnít run the airco, but at least there is some airflow inside.

Although usage is limited to 2x30min to prevent battery drain.

You can start by removing the glovebox. Which means glovebox+vents as a whole, otherwise you will get a sagging lid, if you haven't already.

Also check the rubber boot on the passenger side,...
