Re: Low Battery and Strange Noise from TPA in S54 Swapped Wagon

Firstly I'd check that when the car is running your battery is getting up to at least 13.8V, if not it is likely a failed alternator.

What was your original stalling issue? I'm having one and when I go to add a bit of gas when the engine is still cold the RPM's drop. If I'm not careful on the clutch to catch it, it stalls.

Is it at specific temperatures, like engine cold, warming up, hot?

Mine only does it 2-3 mins after a cold start. It hesitates and RPM's can drop fast. Once it's warm though the issue goes away.

Re: E36 M3 with Automatic - YES, Automatic - Transmission

I'm in the middle of converting my auto M3 to 420G 6 spd (and a S54 ;)) but there is no way to stay in 1st gear. This was very disappointing to me since it restricts some amount of fun. M mode for...

Re: S52 First Start - Priming the oil system

If you really want to what you can do is:

Pull the fuel pump relay/fuse
Remove the spark plugs (this greatly reduces load on moving parts and increases cranking RPM)
Crank the engine from 10-15...

Re: Daytona Violett Build

Artistically it looks cool. But it'd be so much cooler IMO with correct suspension and some nice meaty tires.

Re: Streamline & Dr M3an M3's CSL Airbox Development Journal Collaboration

So, I think it's safe to assume that there's no way this would fit into a S54 swapped E36 M3 right...? Probably not enough interest to get an alternate version made either.

I still don't know if I should recess it or not. I think this new style is designed to be flush as the outer seal perfectly matches the contours of the beveled edge on the crank face. I can't imagine...

S54 Experts: Need some advice, front crank seal

Re: Poly Diff bushings slide out?

I had a bunch of powerflex bushings on my E36 (they were all the rage at the time). Turns out most of them did the same garbage, backed out, misaligned, distorted parts around them.

F that jam.

Re: 05 E46 M3 LCM (Light Control Module)

If your car was manufactured before 9/2002 then you need this LCM for LED tails. I believe there still is some basic coding to get everything to work.
