Spring water is almost universally high in minerals. Otherwise it wouldn't taste better than tap. Adding minerals to your cooling system seems illogical.

Highly purified water such as RO/DI...

Police have the authority to secure the vehicle if their (emissions testing) system gives them reasonable suspicion that the car may be stolen - given that it appears that the DME appears to have...

Avoid Hawk HPS and HP+. Recommend PFC (choose your compound) or another solid brand.

Bed them before the event. Don't forget quality fluid flush.

New tires have mold release in the outer rubber. Give the tires 100-200 miles to wear it off. A good tire shop should have mentioned this.

At some point soon you're going to need to drop the rear and have a very thorough inspection done. Given the other cracks you have - chances are there are more. You don't want them to get bigger.

There is an art to removing it. Do NOT overheat the soundproofing layer. Just heat it enough to get a sharp putty knife under the edge and then heat only enough to try to lift it WHOLE - one width...

That looks like a tear. You need to strip the soundproofing all around it to see how far the problem goes (including hairlines).

I saw a guy do a full sideswipe of the M2 passenger side on the tire wall at the track last weekend. The after-effect doesn't look like the metal is any thicker. It was a pretty new car too.

1. Start going to the track
2. Keep going to the track

I think everyone who uses that display sets it before starting off on a jaunt that may suggest higher temperatures. Are you having temperature issues that require regular monitoring?

ETA: It doesn't need to be completely removed - just a good compromise between weight and time. The Westfalia trailer hitch allows the heavy tongue to be removed easily but leaves (est.?)...

The most gentle, diffuse spray you have. A pressure washer can cause some real damage. Always keep the nozzle well back from any object - even in the diffuse pattern.

I just read your for sale thread - and it seems shady to me as well.

BTW - asking to split a $25,000. cashiers check payment into 3 separate checks is called "structuring". The intent is obvious....

I've never understood that view.

Its not as if it rolls in and they say "Its Bob's E46 M3. We saw it a year ago and know the car well. Its a good car".

Yes. Most DGAS, barely look at the car - and when an issue arises - tell you to FOAD.
