Re: Clutch issues... ugh

What do you use to get a scan of it? Also, definitely interested in that CAD model of the bumper/duct :D

Also, does this mean you'll be deleting the fogs on your coupe?

Re: 17 inch tire choices actually pretty good?

Whether it's an 'issue' is personal preference. Going from 245/40/18 to 245/45/17 increases sidewall height about 12%. Your car won't become a Cadillac from this, especially because we're mostly...

Re: 17 inch tire choices actually pretty good?

Re: how do you install/run these ECS 30mm spacers?

Uhh no, in this case we're talking about positive offset which means the centerline of the wheel is inboard of the hub, going closer to et0 brings the wheel centerline aligned with the hub.. et47...

No stored codes huh.. did you check actual mileage (distance traveled / gas vol at fill up) or are you just using the onboard comp?

Oil Cooler Line Flow

Haha- agreed, and I was talking only about oil temp, not coolant.

I for one don't redline it until I've driven for a little bit with the oil around 210 as to make sure trans/diff are good to go. ...

Re: Oil Cooler Line Flow

Have you ever driven in the winter? 175 is fine to 'wail' on if everything else is up to temp. It's a spectrum. If 40 deg over theoretical operating temp is 'fine' (getting pretty hot though) then...

Curious as to your guys' opinions..

I've got a 52k mile original (dual mass) flywheel that came on my engine when I bought it off ebay. Think it's worth it to get a brand new one (only $300..?) to...

Totally agree. Only GT car I've driven on track is the GT4 and while you can tell the engine isn't *quite* as exotic as even the M3, the car as a whole is almost perfect. Even sitting in...

I had the older Stoptech street performance pads (not sure if the same as now?) and I really didn't like them. They left massive deposits on my rotors when wet and were just sort of okay otherwise.

Re: For LSB guys...

Is it just me or is this forum slightly insane... e46 hardly compares to a 'standard' C2S, let alone a GT3. Sure the engine revs slightly higher than a base 911 and the power is similar (at least...

Maybe the OE (Shell Helix?) is best?

Best Daily Driver Suspension?

Pretty soft I think? There’s two full turns of adjustment right? Maybe 1/2 or 3/4 turn from soft on the rear, and mostly soft on the front

Re: Best BBK for E46 M3

Apex says the 17x9 et30 should fit over the brakes, actually offering ~2mm more clearance over 17x9.5 et35. They think a 3mm spacer might work, sounds like the right route for me
