Sunroof can be deleted. Remove sunroof track and motor assembly, replace sunroof with fiberglass insert kit or weld or epoxy the metal one in place.

Boost is awesome on an E36. Turbo is more fun than a supercharger. I would have no interest in owning mine without forced induction. A 2.0T Accord or V6 Camry can keep up with a stock E36M3...

Bottom line is you can’t go much stiffer than stock or you get vibration. I would agree the Rogue mounts are likely very close to the E21 mounts and that there is likely not any difference anyone...

You can put your foot down. Rod bearings don’t need to break in. How did the old rod bearings look? E36 tend not to wear much and often look nearly new after 200k miles.

You don’t have to solder these resistor; you can simply stick it in place. Fold the ends back to double them up if it fits loosely. You can also leave the motor in place but it is a cleaner ASC...

I tried to buy through Pelican, but it is out of stock. Others have bought the E36M3 booster for just under $300 shipped from meca-trouve. I donít think there are any better options.

I have had my x brace off a dozen times and never replaced the bolts. The only USA E36 that had them were convertibles so it is not even a necessary part but you feel you must replace the bolts...

ARP2000 hold S52 at 800+ rwhp. I don’t think you need to spend more, especially on a centrifugally blown motor that makes peak boost only at redline when cylinder pressure is lower.

Zerex GO5 is very close to factory spec and Zerex G48 meets it, if Zerex is available in your area. Cheaper than BMW coolant.

I think you should be breaking 250 rwhp SAE on a dynojet. Something is wrong and I doubt the low numbers are just due to the tune. Post you dyno graph. It might suggest some possibilities.

Weight may vary by brand. I think the Duracell H5 in my E36M3 is 34 lbs. I mistakenly ordered the lead acid version instead of AGM so maybe that makes a difference.

I would not go below 80C or 176F. In a cold area, you will actually see the engine operating at 176F. Like in NH in winter sometimes. Any colder might not be good for oil temps. I still get cabin...

The fan switch is on the cold side of the radiator so it is triggered only when the radiator and belt driven...

S65 is 12.0:1 with port injection runs fine on 93 and bmw also sold them in 91 markets. If an S54 with stock 11.5:1 is fine on 91 maybe one with 12.3:1 would be fine on 93.

Yes, itís a CYA. Wonít hurt BMW to ask for it and BMW probably required it for warranty purposes. But ask anyone or do your own research and you will learn more about rod bearings and how they work...
