You don't have to remove the throttle bodies to clean the insides and springs/bearings on the outside. Double check your hose clamps on intake boots don't interfere.

It's always as "simple" as correct amount of air/fuel and a spark...so def check fuel delivery and operation of pump/regulator/injectors.

Swap the throttle pedal with your friend to see what it does, but I'm not sure if that is the issue. Have to check air/fuel/spark related components. I don't think blown coils/spark plugs/injectors...

Not easy with those, there is only so much room. I use the ujoint with my electric drill to get the nut most of the way there (saves A LOT of time) and then snug them up by hand with open end...
