Well, I went to Home Depot and they had the Butyl tape for $5.90 including tax for 50yds...they only had the gray one...I bought it.

It's not caulk...it just uses the tube like caulk does and is black. I'll get the butyl tape.

Thanks Brett for responding and sharing...what I was thinking of from 3M came in a tube like caulk...I'll try the Butyl tape since it appears cheaper as well as the tarminator.

You'll need an extension on that 13mm socket...I think I used a 9" extension...you'll need to feel the nut...since your car is not as tight as the M3, good luck!

Something in the shift linkage is not right...take pic and show us! Come to think of it your shifter stick may be facing wrong direction when installed.

If he had a stiff clutch pedal and then soft, shouldn't that indicates a leak? If that's the case, fluid should be coming out the transmission weep hole or out where the master connects to the hard...

I have a used one; however, it's for 96+. I did an analysis with DIS, and it pointed to the front driver side...I cleaned the sensor (had lots of metal shavings) so I hoping that's it.

That's the normal behavior of the brake light switch when it's bad...it seems to last about two years...I can say to the ASC as my car doesn't have it.

How is the hose from the ICV to the elbow? A slight crack in the hose by the tip at the elbow can cause havoc and misleading diagnoses.

What were your plans...were you just let them run continually? You could let the DME/ thermoswitch to trigger the relay that comes with the fan.
