SRD is not a track seat, it's a fully reclining sports seat as mentioned. Think of it as a more supportive vader that offers more support.

No none, it's odd. I know it's going to have to go on the lift and figure it out. Thought it might have to do with the E46 M3 wheels in 18's but not even at speed did the issue go away.

Ones I am looking at at are for a Z3 2.8 roadster, they are going on a 332Ti which weighs 40 pounds less than the roadster Z3 and Compact's have the same suspension and pretty much exhaust setups...

UUC Corsa is louder than system U unless it has dtm pipes, Eismann is loud and sounds fantastic, I have a Stromung and it's muted but is brand new so it remains to be seen how loud it actually is.

Hit the nail on the head with that one. OBD 2 gives you far more depth of info for diagnostics the only bad is the more advanced EWS but you can always have that flashed out of your ecu.

Quite possible the car is not loose in the front and feels there is no need. I added some on my E30 when I was stationed at Bitburg. Car tended to be far too loose over 120 mph.

Why not get a used head, Have you used a borescope and looked at the internals? As most have said you have a bent valve or two or three...Hopefully you did not drop a valve as that world render swap...

Have you checked to see if you have a broken engine ground? That's an easy and fast check.

Thanks, was not aware of that as I mentioned I'm not a major stereo junky. The car has HK system and the factory head unit I added after the orignals failed. Other than that it's stock system

Very true...look at E30 M3's most are no longer driven because they loose value as the miles go up so they end up sitting in a garage sitting. Kinda like that M1 that was found in Italy this month...

Not always, they are on the rise here as well. Bought my 95 ten years ago for 4.8K with average mile for age, was a car that we don't use often so mileage is now low and like cars are in the 9-13k...

So these have just about reached the 20/25 rule so one would expect to see them being imported at a higher rate now. Much the way E30 Tourings have come ashore the last three years.
