I asked Tap for the board design files a while back, and even though the board is theoretically to help others out, he didn't want to release the design files - not even Gerbers. It's definitely a...

Re: No Replacement For Displacement (s54 stroker)

Except that's not the majority. That's the riff-raff at the bottom for cars like ours where tuning gains are minimal and nobody really wants to mess with a CPU32 :lolhit:

The majority are players...

Re: No Replacement For Displacement (s54 stroker)

Which closed doors have you been behind, exactly?

It's really straightforward - the engine uses 1D, 2D, and 3D tables to do its job. The people who initially calibrated the car did it based...

Re: At what point is alpha n worth it

It's worth it when you don't have a stock/ stock-ish MAF housing. Alpha-N alone does nothing for power, it's just guessing fuel demand based on throttle and RPM, rather than using the MAF to tell...

Re: How bad are OEM brake pads on track

My train of thought is that if you're already used to doing AX/ HPDE events in a mini,
1) You'll be of sufficient caliber to heat up the pads (maybe even in that "getting fast, but using too much...

Re: How bad are OEM brake pads on track

My sentiments, exactly. It's 5 bolts to change a wheel, two to change a set of pads. Just swap them and carry on.. until it sits in the garage between track events and you just leave the track pads...

Re: Did I just lose an injector?

It's a voltage malfunction, so it's either the injector itself, the wiring/ connector, or the driver in the DME. Safe bet to start with the injector

Re: Creator C310 doesn't talk to DSC/ABS module

Ah, an oldie but goodie... you need to jumper pins 7 and 8 together.

Pin 7 on the OBD port is the government-mandated K-Line interface to the engine/ DME, pin 8 is the manufacturer specific pin...
