I was down at BJ too. It was cool to see the collection, but there were a lot better cars to look at down there. I wasn't there Saturday when they went through so I had to watch on TV.

Re: State of bolt-on mods entering 2020?

If there is anyone left here that hasn't removed the CDV (clutch delay valve) it is a very simple and effective mod to improve drive-ability.

Those look like they would work well on some old school jdm restomod, not feeling it at all for an E36. Wheels are just so subjective, got to do what you like.

The estoril sedan does look nice, even with the cluster issue it seems low.

Re: Numba 10 - Byzanz Sedan Auto - Got Lucky

Interesting, mine almost looks like a heating element that is installed into the foam...I re-did another set of seats last summer that had this too, although I didn't swap the bases.

Re: Numba 10 - Byzanz Sedan Auto - Got Lucky

Re: Out and about

I usually run without a front plate here in WA also. Car looks great, I'm sure it must be very satisfying taking it out after all that time rebuilding it.

Okay, almost a year since I've posted in here or done much to the car but seeing everyone's great refresh threads lately has got me motivated.

I've came pretty close to convincing myself to sell...

The older I get the more I enjoy seeing these in stock(ish) form, beautiful example. If that was mine I'd go either all amber or all clear lights and get some BMW center caps, and probably be...

Re: P.N.W. meet

I was there as well, ended up being a good showing. Not nearly as many cars as prior years due to weather but a lot of nice cars still showed up.

Re: Intro/Plans: New Owner - 1998 M3 Convertible (Dakar)

On a completely stock car like above I agree, I like the ambers. But clears have a place too and can look good on Dakar.

PS. Big fan of your car and what you have done to it, and maybe it is...

Re: Door lock actuators

That's a good point, once you know how it goes on it really is about a 30 second job. Word of advice on the front doors, don't unbolt the latch mechanism. It is much easier to pop it on and off...
