Yeah, too long since I've measured distance to strut, 9.0 is probably where things top out for conservative offset. My rg63's are 18 x 9 Front , offset is +38, and that's probably no more than 3/8"...

Don't have them on the E46, but the E36m3 came with the ones w/o the vertical line. After you drive with them for a while, you feel handicapped w/o them. I expect I'd feel the same once my brain...

Why would you do that? They recommend THE WRONG SPEC.
Their ATF is NOT a GL4. They say it meets that req but do NOT put that spec on the bottle.

I'd do the springs - all of them - before I'd do anything else.
If a spring is bad it may not make position.
Normally springs failures don't give codes,

If you get no codes by a bmw specific reader/inpa, I'd expect something mechanical from the clutch or slave, since you're pump is running. TOB, pivot pin, etc.

That's not what I meant to convey. HOW the seller choses to SPEC THE REBUILD is the issue. The big box stores spec on price and don't require adequate testing. I beleive (but can't cite facts)...
