Re: BMW is NOT playin games with the F90 m5.

Thanks to direct injection, the intake ports / valves on most current engines have to be media blasted. This procedure will be required several times during the life of a vehicle. For this vehicle,...

Re: X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6, or X7 (Which would you choose to own?)

Drove one of these today. It's very impressive. Quite quick, sounds great. Even handles quite well for an SUV.

Re: C&D Road Test: 2018 BMW X2 xDrive28i

I've driven the X1 and X2. Got to drive the X2 on an autocross course at a BMW X event today. They are based on the same platform, but they are quite different. The X1 is more roomy but also is quite...

Re: BMW is NOT playin games with the F90 m5.

Had a ride in an M5 at a BMW X event today. Professional driver took us for a few laps of an autocross type course. Got to go twice. DSC turned off. Lots of sideways. That car is f*cking fast. Still...

Re: Honda Civic SI vs VW Golf GTI

The honda is ugly and cheap looking inside. I cannot imagine owning one. I could own a GTI, however. Was behind a Golf R a few days ago. Really like the look with the quad exhaust pipes.

Re: I want to climb Everest. Any mountaineers on here?

That's the slack version where the weather is nice. On some mountains, the climbers have to weather blowing wind, snow and cold in hanging tents. Do not want.

On some mountains, you sleep hanging on a rope.

Re: The Official E46 M3 Oil Analysis Results Thread

If your engine is knocking loudly and Al and Fe are to the roof, you have bigger problems than your air filter. Loud knocking, and high levels of Al and Fe sounds like piston and cylinder. If you...

Re: Trust Waze or the speedo?

Waze uses gps, but it's also doing a lot of other things such as uploading position reports, downloading traffic and routing info and rendering the map. Any/all of these things can cause latency that...

Re: Trust Waze or the speedo?

I would recommend using a specific GPS application, such as gps status, rather than waze. I would also recommend that you not have any other apps running in the background.

Re: Anyone printing money with bitcoins right now?

The BTC still exist, but they cannot be spent. When someone refers to "keys" in the context of cryptocurrency, the "keys" are cryptographic encryption keys. The public key is used to derive the...

If the keys to the wallet are on the same drive as the wallet, then the wallet effectively is in the drive. It's not an exaggeration that a staggering amount of BTC has been lost forever because the...

ECS Tuning still offers the blade refills. No idea how long they will be available, but I just ordered another set.

Re: Upgraded to the modern style windshield wipers

Good luck with those icons and evos. IMO, they look great, but suck otherwise. I put icons on my 328. They cleaned okay, but did not last long. I have evos on my ML. The driver's side cleans okay,...

I'm still using OE windshield wipers, because I'm not a big fan of replacements such as Bosch Icon and also because the wiper blades are still available (for now at least).

I recently put in a new...
