Re: M3 is a cash car

Re: M3 is a cash car

Re: M3 is a cash car

This is why cars take a hit in value after 100k miles. If you but a car with 97k miles for $20k, it will be worth $15k with 105k miles simply due to lack of available credit.

Re: How often do you get a valve adjustment

so, the shims cost $350. The tool costs $30. And the gaskets cost $100.

Looks like the shims and tool are a one time purchase. And then gaskets are purchased once every 30k miles or so?

Re: Best tires for money

How long do tires generally last for you guys? Under what kinds of driving situations - hard, moderate or gentle?

Re: GTR Hood Opinions Needed!

Re: Best car after an E46 M3?

I could never own a stang. It's what all the cops drove in my home town growing up. When I was looking at which car to buy it was between the m3 and an audi s4.

Re: Anyone thinking of replacing their M3?

Let's face it.. the M3 is the best car that we can afford. I'd buy a DB9 or 911 turbo for $90K if I could afford it... but, I couldn't maintenance either car and afford the payments comfortably. ...

Re: Can I afford an m3 lifestyle?

Im talking about $20k depreciation on a new m3 versus less depreciation on an e46. You can probably pick up an e36 now and sell it for more in 5 years. Which reminds me that the euro e36 will hit...

Re: Can I afford an m3 lifestyle?
