Okay, when you split the DS, did you mark the centerline and return the same way?

Also how’s the CV joint look?

What am I missing? Drill them out in 5 minutes w no fire or $900 tools. You won’t hurt anything. Pull them on w all thread and 2 pieces of scrap metal

Re: Subframe - Rear Diff - Rear Arm bushing removal tool?

Drilling them out works. It’s EXTRA easy w the subframe off the car. I did it on all my Ms. E36 and E46.

Get it just enough to cut the sleeve that you can fold it in w a flat head. Drill where...

I’ve done a decent amount of testing w/ intakes etc. Stock intake was always near ambient temps at WOT. That’s what you want.

Re: Groaning from FL corner after installing PSS10 coilovers?

So took them off and moved them right to another car? Or did you break them down at all? Sounds like binding from a missing or misplaced washer or sleeve somewhere.

Re: Vanos rebuilt, Code 185 Exhaust Camshaft, Chain Slap

Adaptations in INPA aren’t the vanos adaptations. ISTA would be the best. It’ll tell you what’s going on. You can also set TDC and take VC off to see if you’re still in time.

Maybe you’ll have to...

Did you reset adaptations of the Vanos?

Get the schwaben scanner and look at live values of the reset vanos. You have +\- 8į before tripping the code.

It’ll take you 30 min to pull the VC. I’d do that and inspect all those components in the head.

Also maybe check your chain tensioner.
