How are you verifying on the top end that bank 1 goes to bank 1 connector? There is no marking on the top side .

Your pre cat O2 sensors are swapped. Go under neath the car and swap them at the bungs.

Good idea. I think it has to be deflection. I can't see weight transfer alone being sufficient to drop car 3.5" under deceleration.

If the Vanos is still attached, it will be very difficult to move. I had to bang on it with dead blow hammer. Alternatively, remove end caps from Vanos and it is a lot easier.

I use to handle it like you, but with thumb up, your arm is close to your body and you can easily pull it towards you when shifting from 3-4 and end up in 2.

I'd go ahead and replace seals and upgrade pump disk. That may not solve your issue but it is a start. I know before I overhauled vanos, I had issues in cold weather with misfires.

I just want to make sure that you get good instruction. I was kinda slow learner so was in instructed groups for nearly 2 years. Some organizations have weak instruction.

You hear don't lift a lot but once the rear end breaks loose you ain't got traction so rear wheels are no longer on good terms with the track surface. Lifting at this point isn't going to hurt you...

This is where being able to compare data is helpful. Will.c is a very good driver and is way more comfy driving at/above limit then me but our times are very similar. I'd probably be 1 second...

Nope. They sent me a new sized belt. I'll snap a pic when I get home if I can't find one on phone. I have the racing kit with alternator pulley. If you go to Turner website you can see the kit...

I guess that's it. I have the 11 hp Turner kit. It was fortuitous as my DD idler pulley went bad and I had the extra one from track car.

You free up an idler pulley with UD pulleys so that's a plus.

It's not perfect but it's directionally correct. I DIY so changing bearings on a schedule is not that costly. Bearings themselves are relatively cheap.
