I'm much more comfortable underneath my quickjacks than I was ever was under jack stands. It is very, very stable when lifted. No issues. There are locking cams that hits a bar in case of failure.

You can use the money you save by buying dove grey to do an interior swap which is particularly easy if your just going straight black. Harder to find and more expensive if looking for imola,...

IMO if the car hadn't been two different colors it would have sold much, much higher. It isn't a cheap fix (source worked in body shop in another life for a long time). Also I have a spread sheet...

No. That gap should not exist.

Edit: going to guess the lateral trim panel, the one that sits flush with the tonneau cover, is bent downwards.

Don't know but since I'm in the market for a second M3 I use it as a baseline for what different levels of our cars should "roughly" sell for. Why? Because many people on these here interwebs lie...

The only manual resync I'm aware of for the e46 is using the allen key to reset the button.

Did you look at post 2 and examine the plastic piece attached to the flap motor plastic cover?

An overlooked plus, IMO, with the vert is how you can change looks so try and find a hardtoop:

They do. Remove a bunch of plastic, unscrew a plug, find your transfer pump,

Changed the transmission fluid. After reading threads on what to use to since the OE stuff was discontinued I went with Ravenol MTF-2 75W-80. Went for a nice long drive, so far so good.
