Re: BMW M2 CP has rear subframe bolted to the body without bushings.... uh oh

We *do* drive our cars, maybe that's the difference :lolhit:

I've enjoyed every stiff/ solid bushing I've put on the car - sure, there might be a bump in NVH but the difference in response and...

Re: BMW M2 CP has rear subframe bolted to the body without bushings.... uh oh

Word. Who engineers a car with the mindset of "oh, it makes way more torque than the old one? Hm... well, we're late to the pub, it'll probably be fine - ship it!"

Re: BMW M2 CP has rear subframe bolted to the body without bushings.... uh oh

Agreed - lots of solid mounds around all the F-chassis cars.

As long as they didn't use a carrier bolted tacked onto tissue paper like ours, it should be just fine...

Re: Clunk / Popping noise when turning wheel fast

For suspension stuff, I always just start by getting the car in the air and pulling on the wheel/ tire in every direction, as well as pushing up and down on the chassis while it's on the ground.

Replace the injector and check the wiring on cylinder 1, dude! lol Explains your wacky air fuel ratio and your misfires. Just hope you didn't hurt the car by driving it like that for so long.

Direct steering and chassis (could be better, newer cars are worse)
Simple interior without feeling cheap
