I think he's saying the spoiler was factory installed, so it did not have the 3rd brake light in the rear window.

If i'm not mistaken, the dealer installed spoilers still had a 3rd brake light in...

It sounds like you are still very hung up on the 200k miles. It is a $4500 car after all. It could crap out in 500 miles or 50k miles, you never know.

The price difference on ebay between a new rep and a used OEM M3 bumper is $50-100.

To echo what others have said, you should spend the extra money for OEM. If you have to wait to save the money...

Your cabriolet SMG M3 wouldn't have made it to production without the European success of the e30 M3.

Regardless of if it's BMW, Subaru, VW, etc. and I want OEM, I just email a screen shot of the online price/part and ask...

There are definitely a lot more options if you aren't concerned with snow and/or ice.

For me, I need a daily that can handle all conditions. I'm not going to drive a RWD car up to the mountains...

Agreed, we should organize a BMW meet at some point. I feel like I usually don't see info about a meetup until the day of. It'd be nice to have some heads up.
