Re: Loud rear end clicking after diff install

You can unbolt the csb to give you some more room. Worst case, you will also have to unbolt the guibo to remove the whole driveshaft.

Re: To Do: Vanos/Rod Bearings Vs Subframe

Yes, crack propagation is evil because once it starts, it spreads at 2x, because it can spread in both directions (it rarely starts from the very edge where it can only propagate in one direction).

Pre o2 readings of .8 (rich) jive with what your spark plugs on 4-6 show (rich). Start with replacing o2 sensors, then we can isolate weird idle/running/starting issues.

Hopefully it wont be...

Do you have any logging or graphing capabilities/tools to check if front o2 are switching at same rate? In either case if factory, prob good to replace and one of them could be failing.

270 OIL temp after long hard session in hot weather is fine (water/coolant at that temp is a bigger problem). You can do a few hard days before replacing that oil.

On no cranking as if battery dead, were electronics/dash on at all with key on? Might be starter.
