Bike rack needs a square receiver... Only other option is to buy the Westfalia bike carrier that clamps onto the ball, but it is pricey and heavy...and that is if you can still get one.

My plan is to just cut the stock diffusor for use with ball and run with CSL copy diffusor...

Yeah, you just use pliers to crimp them, they are intuitive when you use them, but I had some for exhaust wrap...funny about zip ties, honestly that would work fine IMO albeit a bit hackish.

Can you install just the carbon clutch? The ceramic is a bit grabby, and evidently it is 4lbs heavier too.

Get a couple neodymium magnets and place them around the broken bolt to catch all the drill chips, drill out the bolt, then use an "easy out". they are left hand twist things that are like end mills...

Yeah, it is like lead impregnated plastic! I guess it is some kind of dense composite for thermal insulation, but it sure is a lot heavier that you would think it to be.

Surely he means HVAC filter... the housing in engine bay (in front of firewall) is a lot heavier than you would think. 8lbs sounds about right.

The only way that would happen is if it cracked and leaked out (because it WASN'T vented for example).

The evap stuff is not to keep the gas from evaporating, it is to keep it from evaporating...

aluminum is fine for an exhaust as long as it is away from the exhaust. :drums:

Yep...


The rear most mufflers would be the ONLY place this MIGHT work. You would definitely have problems trying to use them for sec 1 or 2.

I have cats in my section 1 with header wrap...

So that TSB is wrong about the bolt changeover? I reread it several times to make sure I did not misunderstand... it says 10mm was later engine and 11mm was first used before the changeover...

Yes it did very much! I was tired and I could not figure out what was holding the oil pan on, but it was the two 10mm bolts in the bell housing.

Made a real mess too... first the oil pan dropped...

Yeah, but the pickel fork is going to ruin the rubber boot over the ball joint... I removed the headers and right side engine mount after last post, thinking at least I can get the right side...

yeah, but it is a slippery slope... once you pull the rear subwoofer and deck speakers you will realize how much more weight you can scrap by getting rid of the entire harness. The nav/audio harness...

IIRC the CF roof is 5lbs. I did weigh it when I got it, then put it back in the box but I lost the sheet where I had all that stuff documented...I will weigh it again and take pictures to document...
