My E36 repair is complete!

The repair phase is complete! It still needs some work, including shifter rebuild and oil pump nut, but the collision stuff is done. Iíll link my journal below. I think Iíll name them...Yin and Yang...

I have a hard time believing preload was a contributing factor. I installed the sway bar with the suspension loaded.

Pretty sure bushings are rubber. No noises.

Yes, they have a grease fitting. The flooding might have contributed to this...canít believe I didnít think to regrease the bushings. ABR mustíve overlooked that, too. Iíll start regreasing annually....

Yeah, my pads wear at an angle, even though I have solid caliper guides. So changing the leading edge will help prolong use as well.

Oil change process on an R8 is a PITA. There are like four drain plugs, and the procedure for adding oil and ensuring you put the correct amount in is annoying. The process takes a few hours.

Nogaro width is 390 mm, which is how wide my passenger Cobra Imola is. Iím 32Ė33, and the extra space is not bad. Having ridden as a passenger in my car on track, I had no issues and stayed planted...
