If you plan on buying a car that you want to drive, I'd almost suggest looking for one that's just peaked 100k'ish and has been driven. Makes you feel not as bad about driving it. :lolhit:

Correct. They were wrapped around everything pretty tight before I pulled them back. Kind of made me jump when I pulled the carpet back and the shock towers were still hidden under the ugly rubber...

I only did the four rivets my original bumper had.
There are rivets that connect to top of the carrier to the bumper? I only see a few spots that have holes that look like they could fit a rivet.

I've found a shop who's only charging $90 to get the car "diagnosed" and they only charge the $90 if I don't get it fixed with them. I'd much rather have a rebuilt top end after the few posts on this...

Honestly I would love to get the head worked on vs a new engine. It sounds like it would increase the engines rigidity by a lot too tbh. I'll discuss this a little more with my pops soon. A friend...

Here's my situation, if you don't already know:

Money shifted at 70mph into second
Cylinder head definitely needs work
Car runs doesn't smoke,leak, or make strange noises; just shakes at idle...

I actually did not! The only problem I could see would be installing the actual mounting brackets for it, which I don't have. The intake "hangs" freely but isn't loose at all due to the pretty big...

Color code on the 330 is 364, it's Topaz Blue Metallic; Probably one of my favorite colors for the E46. If I were to get an E46...

Not at all, but I would rather have a rebuilt top end on my 160k mile engine vs a possibly more abused engine that could run into more minor hiccups than mine. Dealing with an engine swap really...

10/10 wasn't ignition coils on the misfiring cylinder LOL

Definitely assuming the worst so I'll be saving up maybe a grand or two, and then looking into getting it actually taken to a shop......

To answer the fifth gear lean question, yes.
