You can get the orings from any decent hydraulic shop - they are quite a tight fit and 3mm *might* make it difficult to get it back together, but...

The thermostat determines engine operating temperature, not the fans. The only reason you have a fan, either electric or clutch, it to get airflow...

Cheers, makes sense with symptoms. Coolant temp sits at 90c (normal & track on dedicated gauge) with the PWR, 80 thermostat and 80/88 fan temp s/w.

Another thing of note, i have a 'Internal communication error' with master and slave as shown in INPA. I have a strange power loss/miss at a third throttle when the car has been shut off <5mins....

It's not actually recessed, it's raised. I couldn't help myself and put some on anyway. Only decent brace that doesn't cost a fortune and/or isn't a hinged POS imo

Finally time has come to get into the ECU side of the fence, and will be doing it at bench level (so the pinout would be nice) with a spare ECU. Namely raising RPM, SAP logic delete, AN and so forth...

They feel quite different, but perhaps euro 36 v 46 is substantially different than US 36 v 46. The suspension may be stiffer and all that, but they feel softer. Mind you i've only driven a fair few...
