The carbon fiber pieces can be ordered but there is just nothing to secure them to. The holes tend to wear out and then it is almost impossible to get a good anchoring point.

Just turned 100k on my 08 E93 six speed. I have had my share of repairs.. thermostat + did the water pump while they were in there. But runs like a champ.

2008, 6 speed. I spent $1,600 on the Magnaflow and it was too loud with an awful drone. Did the DIY (it's all over youtube) for $100 and love it.

I had the thermostat replaced and the water pump. $1,300 at and indy shop. The DIY was way more than I wanted to do.

I have an 08 E93 with 100,000 and this is close to my oil consumption and I drive it like I stole it. 8,300 rpm in second is just.....well you know.

6 speed Transmission synchronizer

2008 M3 74,000 miles and runs great. A couple minor engine repairs. Completly stock, except for an upgraded air filter. Some occassional problems shifting into second, which acts like 2nd gear...

Magnaflow part # 15545 was installed and sounds great. Only issue is that the sound will fluctuate every 4 minutes or so, from a mellow tone to loud. 4 minutes of mellow and then 4 minutes of loud....
