Re: KW V2 Coilover Clunk

Check the top nut on your struts. Also, how old are your front control arms?

Re: Can't get rid of the shimmy

Ok fellas, an update.
So, after checking the steering coupler and making sure it was ok, was at a complete loss, and decided to go the easy route and just swap front wheels with my M Coupe since...

Re: Can't get rid of the shimmy

I have not. Buried with work this week (and looks like weekend as well!), but will do. Seems the shimmy would be permanent if it was a coupler, no? Coupler is a part that can ALLOW vibration to...

Re: BlackStone oil report

At 154K with 25ppm copper, I'd be looking into doing bearings sooner rather than later.

Re: Can't get rid of the shimmy

Ok, its not a caliper. Right 383F, left 389F after a 10 min run.
I think I'd hear the wheel bearing long before it was bad enough to cause the shimmy?
Will re-balance the wheels one more time and...

Not hard, just time consuming. You also need some tiny screwdrivers and stuff.

Hagerty is NOT liability only. Its a full comprehensive policy.
You have to have another car that you daily, covered by conventional insurance policy to qualify to insure your M3 or whatever with...

Re: Can't get rid of the shimmy
