It's all about feedback. You want your front wheels to provide feedback through the steering wheel as to what the front wheels are doing. Over boosted steering just won't provide that feedback.

Even though Realoem doesn't show the O-ring available separately there is one that will fit so you don't end up replacing a perfectly good sensor. M3 and other E46 use the same sensor.

Yes but you could see where the po used to rest his hand and wore it pretty thin along the stitching but it magically seemed to mend itself after a month or two and now it's not really noticeable....

Did you try removing the led's for the license plate? I thought I read somewhere something about them causing some kind of issue. I also noticed when I installed them that mine stay on dim for a bit...
