It's failing/failed. Just look for a similar M3 gauge cluster (probably has to be pre-96) -- make sure it has fewer miles than your car.

Well, a great reason to avoid Royal Purple is that it seems to be the cause for limited slip carrier bolts backing out. At least, that was the thinking last I checked?

My car sat for the last 6 months, I drove it and the lifters were noisy.

So I did a few pulls up to 7k rpm, problem solved.

I would suggest finding a shop with a roadforce balancer - it makes a world of difference. I don't waste my time getting them balanced with anything else.

Ever get this figured out? My CAB mount (lollipop) bolt just sheared off in the chassis. Can I helicoil or timesert this to fix it?
