Re: 1998 Artic Silver Convertible/Cabrio

Carpet and dash swap are NOT fun.
I'd say mulberry. I also, think mulberry is a beautiful colour. Black would be less maintenance once in, more work to get it there.

Re: M-car Dream Garage

It absolutely doesn’t NEED a swap. That’s not even close to what I was getting at. I was saying there is next to no power difference between a 2.5l s14 and an s52 when it comes to peak HP.

Re: M-car Dream Garage

The 2.5 s14 in the evo sport only has a bit less power than the s52, although its a lot more peaky. I'd love an s52 swapped e30 m3 as well. A couple different paths to the same result really.

Re: Been thinking about an Air-Cooled Porsche

Re: Income to House Mortgage Ratio (poll)

It reads mortgaged amount to me.
Current value of home is 4x income now.:screwy:

Re: E46 M3 vs E92 M3

Well I know the first thing I look at when driving my car is the nurburgring lap times for that chassis to I can tell everyone when I get to my destination.

"Yeah, I'll have a venti dark roast,...

Re: Help me pick out a track car

I'd liken it to my hockey experience growing up.
I played for 12 years, played AAA as a defenseman, and loved it, but decided to quit as I had other priorities.
When I picked up my skates again on...

Re: Income to House Mortgage Ratio (poll)

We are a little under 2:1.
In a city where home prices are averaging 500k for one bedroom condos, its scary watching what people are paying, when you see how much they are making. Simple math isn't...

Re: E46 M3 vs E92 M3

Poll is pointless because really people only want a Yamaha R1.

Re: E46 M3 vs E92 M3

Driving an e92, e39, and my e36 back to back at autocross made me realize how far removed from the older m3s the e9x had become. It felt massive, nearly e39 m5 feel. Turn in was slow even compared to...

Re: Inauguration Watch

For every person that starts out poor and becomes successful there are thousands that don’t. The American dream is dead. Class mobility is harder than it’s ever been in our lifetimes.

Funny, that’s the single largest dislike for me in the e39. It looks like some buddy bro put eBay seat covers on them that managed to fit well.

Re: Help me pick out a track car

Yeah except you are going to spend double on the purchase price of the m coupe over the same quality m3.
I’d prefer the coupe as well, but they just don’t sell for reasonable prices anymore.

Re: Potential Pre-Whats Up Porsche Thread

I’m with stig about the RS America. Not special enough to command the increase over a 964. I'd use my imaginary money for a regular 964 and mod the **** out of it, but can’t go wrong with a gt3...

Plenty of dudes “like” my wife’s photos. Take it as a compliment
If it bothered me I’d be the one with the problem. I’d just laugh it off. I’m the one putting it in her butt.

Re: Alcantara

Thank you. It needs a good thorough clean, but the interior is 23 years old, and has over 300k on it cumulatively, so I gotta say IMO alcantara wears real well.:hattip:
