Unfortunately they did not. The best you can get is a slicktop, like the E46M

On the F80 you can get the CF roof. Finally!

My previous setup was Recaro sliders and MS floor hardware which felt very 'loose' compared to the OEM seats....

They received an offer for a dyno at an independent shop where they could come beforehand to make sure everything was kosher and stay for the dyno runs.

They declined.

Careful though, unless you want to use the be-arp ones i'd stick to oem. Plain jane arp ones distort the bore and are worse than oem because of that

I've done this job many times already on different generation M3s. I just start them right up and let them idle. The assembly lube or oil you used is precisely for that

If you timed it, leave it alone. The rotation is just to check you didn't do anything wrong. You should be fine

Once the hubs are tightened, timing is set. If you rotate the engine, actual timing doesn't change but at times the intake or exhaust cams retard or advance themselves. This is normal and should be...

Correct. You will install it like your intake one is. As a side note, Slowmobile is correct in all his answers :)

Remember to not mix methods. They all seem to work, but pick one and follow it....

When I did angle torque in the S54 DIY I used a regular ratchet connected to the angle torque tool from BMW.
After doing that, I only work with the BE-ARP bolts. Life is too short to be screwing...

OEM headers, ESS HFC Xpipe, Evolve Valvetronic catback. Everyone that rides that car is impressed with how loud it can be when stepping on it yet it has zero drone over 2k rpm....

Get a good torque wrench. Most people do not measure stretch, indeed in some engine blocks it is impossible to measure stretch unless you disassemble the engine

I believe the fear is misplaced. I've driven three to 170k miles with few issues.

Yes, it can be done without removing the fan and in fact that's a better way to do it. The second car I did was like that based on admranger's recommendation.

Regardless of what miles your M has you should change the rod bearings.

I see zero issues in buying a 100k mile M3. If it hasn't blown yet, simply replace the bearings.

Thanks! 12h from the start to finish. Next time it'll probably be 10h, and i'm sure it can be done faster but I've never been a fast worker.
