Re: How-to Mount OEM GT Front Splitter to Motion Motorsports Panel

Fair enough, seems perfectly reasonable to me.

I'll send you a PM a bit later to see how we could move this forward and get a 10+ commitment.

Re: How-to Mount OEM GT Front Splitter to Motion Motorsports Panel

Thank you.

Splitters I'm not sure sorry, I'm just looking at an underpanel at the momoent.

Depending on price I'd be able to commit to two or three, let us now what you're thinking....

This is really helpful actually, thank you.

Re: Dipstick...unbelievable

True but I didn't think the 'before' bit needed to be mentioned, that should be standard operating procedure for all o-rings.

But for clarity, yes, lube it before and after installation.

Re: Dipstick...unbelievable

I used this method on my 328 a few weeks back and it worked very easily.

The only step I'd add is to lube the lower o-ring with engine oil after you slide it on, this just makes it a little bit...

Fair enough and each to their own.

Drilling the pedals is trivial to be honest and the stock pads cover any hole you make if you need to go back. The ///M logos are (IMHO) quite fitting - new...

I disagree.

I've had them on since 2003 and they're excellent for both grip and "heel"/toe action.

Mine came with 'silicone like' inserts - they're stickier than I'd expect rubber to be but...

And the guys looking for an e36, not an e46.

As I said, if you want an e36 and have $25k, put in a S54, 420G and 3.64 diff.

If you want an e46 then get an e46.

E46's are heavy lumps.

Get a clean E36 M3 and put an S54, 420G and 3.64 in it, pocket the change. Will eat E46 M3's.

You'll want to replace the steering rack anyway so perhaps if it's leaking that'll be a good excuse.
