Re: Best no compromise FCAB? Does that exist?

I just had my mechanic install the Turner monoballs as well. Literally no increase in NVH. I’m pretty sensitive to noise and actually swapped my engine mount from bimmerworld to OEM because of NVH....

Re: Buyer beware/scam - ElusiveFX (Tab Khan)

For someone who "specializes" in selling E46 M3s, I'm surprised at how you're not able to notice and call out flaws in the cars you sell. At the very least, it seems like transparency is missing....

Re: Exhaust Opinions (thread #1,634,328)

Where does the Scorze and El Diablo exhaust rank in terms of loudness and drone compared to the Supersprint Sport?

While I love the noise coming out of the El Diablo exhaust, I can't bare the...

Re: Buyer beware/scam - ElusiveFX (Tab Khan)

In a traditional sales model, sure. But how do you add a contingency to an auction sale? Last I checked, eBay doesn't offer this as an option.

You could say the buyer shouldn't have agreed to...

Re: Buyer beware/scam - ElusiveFX (Tab Khan)

I think there's a lot of gray area in the purchase process. For my car, the seller and I agreed on the price. And when I took the car to get a PPI, I was able to negotiate the price of the car...

Re: Just did my rod bearings - not bad for 140,000 miles

Exactly - so my paranoia got the best of me. I guess this just goes to show that those Blackstone reports are pretty damn accurate.

So I've only owned the car for a little over a year. I've...

Just did my rod bearings - not bad for 140,000 miles

Dropped of my 05' ZCP at the shop. My last Blackstone oil report came back fine - pretty low levels on copper, and etc. But I was getting paranoid anyways due to mileage. Replaced them with WPC...

I highly recommend Jake at Wile Motorsports. He builds race spec M3s all day and knows the platform in and out. He is very thorough.

Re: Drone? Stock Sec 1 + SG Sect 2 Resonated + SS Race

With how aggressive the SS race is, I doubt a resonated section 2 will change much. You're better off switching to a different section 3 in my opinion.

Re: Anyone ever done a MAF'ed carbon airbox?

Damn it. Sounds like a MAF’d CSL airbox will never happen because of science. At this point, I wish Chad Nelson’s CF airbox is still available. Kicking myself for missing one for sale last Year.
