Eyeball it from the edge and figure out where you don't have it seated fully. Pry back up there as needed and re-seat it from the center outwards.

You need to maintain your brakes much better than that if you are going to track that car. Why would you run the pad down that low?

I wouldn't run drilled rotors on a track.

The boot is protective. It keeps contamination off the piston and the O-ring - allowing the piston to remain relatively clean.

From those photos - I'd go through all of your calipers and hubs and...

Impossible to know in your case. I saw someone spill it to a pool under the driver-side front, didn't know it, dropped the car, drove and it spattered around the wheel well and a bit low on the car....

I would. Make sure the reservoir cap is dry and tight. Flow water anywhere where brake fluid spilled. Don't flood the ECU.

FWIW - since you overflowed the reservoir and then drove the car - brake fluid is an excellent paint removal method.

Either run two sets of tires - or look at Dunlop Direzzas for dual duty.

NT01 in the wet is bad juju. Makes driving a distance to/from the track a problem.

Drive to Asheville. Then do circuit drives into the Great Smokies - especially 64, Pisgah NF etc. Greats roads and scenery - and you get to avoid the many Grandmas driving the Blue Ridge Parkway.

You don't need a BBK for the track. Get good pads, SSBL and a good fresh fluid flush. Then go drive it.

I think Euro list is $125k. No idea on US price target.

Its a pre-production unit with no VIN. It can never be sold. It wasn't intended as a display unit. It will eventually be returned to Germany and (wait for it............................) shredded....

I was at BMW NA headquarters yesterday and saw an M4 CS in the lobby. I tthink the first in the US - and a pre-production unit (see sticker on rear bumper). It has no VIN and can never be registered...

On the flip side - a cover holds moisture in the car. It also makes it dark inside - which makes for the best environment for mice. Both for 3 years is bad juju.

Take a wire brush to it and see how it cleans up. Same with the terminals, hardware etc. Pull the battery and get the loose crap cleaned out of the tray area.

I'm not sure if you are implying that a hard top will get him on track. IIRC - not with most organizations.
