I was under the impression that the Bosch S50 coils were specific to the M/S50, and the Bremi S52 coils were specific to the M/S52.

Use a shoe lace wrapped around the base of the ‘fold’ handle to remove the ‘fold’ handle and surround, if you have it.
Remove the head rest by pulling…hard.
Two screws on the bottom of the seat...

You are right on with replacing the reservoir. The reservoir contains a non-replaceable filter...that clogs

Could simply be a voltage problem related to dead battery.
Check fluid level, add distilled water as required. Fully charge battery and have it tested.

Have the frame horns and strut towers verified for location.
If they are good, find a local donor car to cut similar sheet metal from and overlay the cracks, stitch it together, call it good.

A new OE housing (Manifold) has a thin coat of pre-applied sealant.


The aluminum Ronak manifold I am re-using has been sealed (so far) with Thermostat O-Ring and OE orange rubber/silicon...

WTB: 5mm spacer for E36 ASAP

BMW wheels are ‘Hub Centric’, meaning that they center the wheel on the circular ‘lip’ of the hub. A 5mm spacer almost fully ‘covers’ the hub lip.
5mm spacers are not going to ‘index’ your wheels...

Your the first owner? The cushion is pinned to the plastic seat base with 4 pins. Often, to preclude wear on the seat base cushion, the cushions are often swapped, the pins omitted.

1996+M3 already has enough caster. Offset FLCABushing simply causes unnecessary rubbing issues.

Dinan’s are typically mated to Koni Sports, which reuse the OE casings.
Google “Koni cut-n-gut”....

Be aware there are strut assembly differences between 1995M3 and 1996+M3. All E36 non-‘M’ and 1995M3 share the same front spring upper diameter. The 1996+M3 has a smaller front spring upper diameter....
