Re: Avin Avant 3 Wait and Other Options

It's amazing to me that you're willing to, at this point, spend almost $3k on halfass products. We don't even know if this thing is any good yet

Re: Headliner failing

Just pull the headliner and give it to an upholstery shop or buy the material and do it yourself. Shouldn't be that pricey compared to everything else with these cars

Re: RACP/Subframe reinforcement (via mobile welder?)

Indeed, a non certification welding class at a community college is fairly cheap if one had zero experience. Get all buddy buddy with the prof and you might can borrow a welder as well.

Re: RACP/Subframe reinforcement (via mobile welder?)

That's true, I happen to have access to everything needed to bond so it makes sense. By all means, if one can weld or knows someone that does weld them shits on and get back to 8k rpm's asap

Re: RACP/Subframe reinforcement (via mobile welder?)

If you didn't get squeeze out around all the edges you didn't have enough adhesive on it. Did you tap it after to check for voids? It should have a solid ring if bonded and have a dull thud where...

Re: RACP/Subframe reinforcement (via mobile welder?)

Re: Post those Black Friday deals

Dang and the 450 is only $189. That's a steal IMO. Part of me wants to buy it just so I don't have to organize my toolbox that is in disarray.

Re: RACP/Subframe reinforcement (via mobile welder?)

I build helicopter blades for a living and they are entirely bonded together. Not an issue provided you do the proper prep, it ain't going anywhere.

Do not be afraid of using adhesive just make...
