Re: Thoughts on 2018 Jeep Wrangler?

If it wasn't clear, I didn't mean the suburban drives well. It doesn't.

I was trying to convey how completely awful the F150 is.

GT6s are smaller than GT4s, in every dimension that matters for wheel clearance.

For a long time my goal was more power than an e9X M3 (NA), lighter than an e36 (with full interior)...

... then I kept going, because it turned out those were meaningless goal posts :lolhit:

In no way do I think the suburban is like driving a sports car. Anything positive I said about it’s dynamics in comparison to something else we’re solely meant to convey how completely shit the worse...

Re: Thoughts on 2018 Jeep Wrangler?

The S54 needs rod bearings and cooling systems at 100,000-150,000 miles. For most people, that's once every 10-15 years... in an enthusiast oriented, 8000 rpm vehicle.

Pickup trucks are, by and...

Re: Thoughts on 2018 Jeep Wrangler?

Specifically the Gladiator (pickup), yes. The wrangler SUV is still pretty useless for towing.

Most of my towing is a ~3000 lb car, so I'd be well within spec.

I also suspect there's some...

It's the 3.5T. I don't know what you're definition of reliable is, but if you don't do spark plugs at ~30,000 mile intervals, head replacement is not an unexpected result.

I agree I won't be...

Seriously, I always want manual. The roof/doors/windshield off ability seems like it could make the car more fun in more situations.
