Yeah, good memory. There are only 2 problems now the CEL. And the damn speakers are making background noise that is related to the acceleration. I still think that the Peake tool should read any...

No adapter... its connected directly under the hood. Gonna try a generic reader next. It also will not erase the code. If that doesnt work guess I can unhook battery.

I put the spark plugs in and after 10 tries she started!
I kicked out about a gallon of water from the exhaust. Some how it's running fine.
Now I have to figure our how to clear out the damn...

It turns! As a matter if fact the water drenched my friend who was eagerly looking into the engine bay. Sprayed it with carb cleaner, will let it dry...

After getting a peake took and finding the "EVAP shut off valve stuck closed" error, I removed it and checked it. Well I took a good look at the evap shut off valve, tested it and it worked fine. ...

Damn think we have the same mysterious PITA problem.
Think I may just buy a new Evap shut off valve. My light comes on between 50-150 miles.

Awesome 300 miles and cel still off. The ccv has a plastic diaphragm that goes bad and leads to a leak. Hope this helps someone else.

Took it to a shop they analyzed the codes and they think it's the crankcase vent ccv. I changed it and I hope it's the problem

It's very Wierd the car drives fine and I reset the light and it has been off for 100 miles. Also wondering if it may be the fuel filter? But shouldn't that affect performance and rpms?

1. Replaced both PreCat O2 sensors
2. Got a new MAF Boot as old one looked like it had small crack

Yes you are correct I mistyped..... The throttle body is open in the rest position.
Long story short I replaced my rotors and brakes (also temporarily fixed air intake boot). ASC light came on,...

Fixed it!
turns out I had placed the screw that tightens the house clamp was in the way of the ACS valve from opening completely. Moved the clamp screw and Voilą!

One more thing I should add...... The light comes on as soon as I start the car, not moving. I read in another post that this means it likely isnt the speed sensor?

No its not the voltage its the duration of the pulse sent to the siren. Its too short to trigger the chirp for lock and unlock. Thats also why when the alarm is triggered it sounds off correctly. I...

Your right.... it was angled to the drivers side a bit too much... I actally rotated it to the center after I installed it.

The other thing I did was sand down the height of the clear plastic light diffuser a little to make the emblem more flush. I agree the carbide bit let me core out all the plastic in 10 minutes

Sounds like it just a bad starter... You may just have to get under the care and test if the starter is getting voltage when you turn the key. Can also have this problem when the clutch switch has...

Last time i felt this its because the counter weight balance fell off my tire. Id also check the alignment while your at it. Most likely its still a tire

HelP... Speedometer sticking around 70.. Tired of punching dashboard

Hey,
My speedometer hAs been sticking around 70mpb for months. When I punch the dash it fixes.. Or when I speed faster than 80..

Seen some posts on this but not a fix.
Have taken it...
