I can't make out the "whine" from your video, but I'm willing to bet your power steering fluid is low...check it. The resevoir is below your intake on the driver's side...the power steering resevoir...

I think you're fine on the street with a 4-point bar and fixed-back seats...OP, I've got a similar setup with pole positions; however, for the street I use the stock 3-point belts, threaded properly...

there's a little rubber bushing on each side of the hinge on the armrest IIRC...I'll bet you could pull the console apart and put some sort of grease in there...you just wouldn't want the thing...

I think the elbow is your problem...if you don't want to pay for the silicon hose just buy a 3.5" reducer and use your old rubber elbow. Otherwise, pick up bimmerworld's silicon elbow for just about...

IIRC the S50 has 18.5# injectors stock...compared to the S52's 21.5#.

I've got 24# injectors but I got them with the intention of moving to a more aggressive cam in the future.

I've never heard of your research so I'm not sure what you're talking about, but the 24# injectors aren't necessary unless you have more aggressive cams (or go FI or something)...the stock one's in...

you wont get much power by putting on the aa track pipe in place of your OBDII mid-pipe...do the HFM, tune, and injectors, and even then you don't need the injectors unless you're going to put in...

Just a heads-up but IIRC your passenger...

Just a heads-up but IIRC your passenger (instructor) needs to have the same safety-belt/harness setup as the driver...you might want to look into running your same harness setup for the passenger...

I think VAC makes good side-mounts...I've got recaro mounts and they're great, but I think the VAC ones will give you a greater adjustment range...I'm really not sure tho, do some searches on bf.c...

yeah, its either burnt out or its been removed....if there's no check engine light on start-up the DME isn't getting power, and since it runs, obviously the DME is getting power.
