Wow Ivan those are awesome results! Now you've got me thinking about adding this. Very curious to see a few more examples before I take the plunge.

Re: Still looking to add another, Anyone tried an m6 manual, v10?

Having owned an S52 swapped E36, I am a big fan of motor swaps. All of these swaps are on my list, though I'd add an S54 E9. The S85 E46 could possibly be even better than stock since the extra...

Re: Still looking to add another, Anyone tried an m6 manual, v10?

While I don't dispute much of this list, I think you may be slightly overstating the commonality of these issues.

Re: Michelin Pilot Sports - Don't Even Think Twice

There is simply far too much understeer in stock configuration for my tastes, and the car doesn't rotate as well as I'd like. Turn-in isn't great, and I generally find it to be a bit unresponsive.

To each their own. I found the staggered setup and stock alignment settings didn't work well for my driving style in the canyons - I like front-end grip. My M3 isn't a DD, so YMMV. :twocents:

Re: The case for another e46 m3

I've done these same mental gymnastics, and ultimately ended up with an E60 M5. I only drive my cars on the weekend, so the maintenance/gas element became even less of an issue for me. I am missing...

Re: What did you do to/for your ///M today?

Yeah, I really like the fishbowl look for now. Given the intensity of the sun here in SoCal I will likely investigate some clear UV-blocking tint, but don't think I'd do dark tint on it again...

@Kaptome540

The shop owner wasn't there, so I didn't get a quote. I'll post once I hear from him this week, but figure it can't be more than $200.
