Always lift a bit on upshift, makes smoother shift and less clunk. Usually blip throttle on downshift because I like to hear the engine rev match more than normal.

5 and 8 yo in boosters. Normally we'll take wife's SUV but with a few extra minutes I can put the seat protectors and boosters in the 2 door M coupe. Biggest pain is helping get seat belts buckled....

I'd recommend first being aware of the cause of the bucking. In my experience it's when either I start off unsmoothly or I'm on a bumpy road that causes my foot to be unsteady on the accelerator....

I tend to agree with this. Happens to me especially on bumpy roads where my foot is unsteady on accelerator.

Bucking is different than the shudder prob.

Do you still think it's something with the ECU? It really does happen much more frequently in city driving after car is warmed up. And at least for now, only from first to second gear.

Yes I think it will probably come down to which set is in better shape. ZCP susp has about 35K miles; my OEM susp has 66K. So may be worth it for condition alone.
