Re: Upgrading E36 M3 to a BBK this month, what brand and model can you recommend for

If you’re not going to track the car then coilovers are more hassle that they’re worth. Most people don’t know how to set up coilovers properly and even when they do the car is usually dialed in and...

Re: Upgrading E36 M3 to a BBK this month, what brand and model can you recommend for

Re: Thoughts on doing DIY clutch/detent pins

Quick Jack is an awesome option if your budget/ garage/ storage allows for it.

Re: Thoughts on doing DIY clutch/detent pins

Its really not a bad job, even for a novice. You don't need a quick jack but obviously saves 20 minutes jacking the car onto jack stands. Everything is very simple and obvious how it comes apart. The...

Re: Raising car on coilovers

You can raise a car with coilovers... the whole point of coilovers is to adjust ride height. You should be able to get them close to stock ride height

i agree with rust being killer and not worth trying to fix. As for this car, for 3K i'd personally buy it and slap some snow tires on it. I'm actually looking for a new DD this year...

Spare keeper locks?

Does anyone have a spare keeper lock they'd be willing to donate/sell to me? was getting everything cleaned up for reassembly on my S52 head and one seems to have gone missing.

Thanks!
