It's not virtually the same, it is the same. Still didn't know the car would allow you to dump the clutch without it running. Pretty cool

I would probably recommend learning to drive on a different car, though it's not exceptionally difficult in the M3. Cost of screwing up is a little greater though vs an econobox or whatever

Careful with the 10mm. I couldn't get one bolt off with the E-torx, tried with a 10mm and stripped the head. Shop had to drop the engine to get a welder on it and bust if off. $1000+ mistake...

Agreed, F80 is way more attractive for some reason. I think part of it is just the M4 name, can't stand it

Ahh but easy is not the same as communicative. A Miata is easy and communicative, but itís hardly more of a drivers car than a Ferrari F40 (communicative yet not likely to be described as Ďeasyí)

Have you driven a GTR? They may be awd and turbo but they're still driver's cars imo. Rode in one on the Nordschleife in the wet and it was fantastic, drifting all over the place (in a good way..)

Yeah, it's one less thing to worry about breaking. And my clutch switch doesn't seem to like where I've got my clutch stop set at.

Yeah, did see that, it's the same piece. I think this holder is the one included in the Bimmian kit so could've saved a few bucks. Guess I didn't do my homework :shifty:
