Can't say that I have ever considered DD'ing the CS. The engine noise would not be the issue, the rough suspension and lack of sound deadening would be the issue.

Your car will stop faster just before ABS kicks in. The trick is to learn where that threshold is.

The thread sticking out past the wheel looks good..... a good rule of thumb is to have the diameter of the lug in thread engagement. So in your case 12mm of thread sticking out past the wheel.

If they are directional, swap them to the other side as well.

I'm not saying you're wrong..... but I find it hard to believe the M3 would be quicker then the CS when the CS weighs less, has more horsepower and has a better chassis.
