Re: US E36 M3 better than E36 Euro M3

This sentiment is occasionally mentioned, but usually very quickly snubbed and shut down. Regardless of the dyno numbers and listed torque curves, I do agree with you. I don't know about modified...

I think the impact may have nicked your fender support. To fix that properly requires skill, welding and some sort of alignment machine. If my suspicion is correct that's probably why they moved to...

Re: Chinesed! Behr Coolant Overflow Tank

There are surely better options, but I'd say the average BMW tank in an E36/E46 has a track record of lasting ~8 years. The new Behrs and all of the other crap? 1-3 years. Older Behr's were simply...

Behr created their China line a few years ago. Ever since all of their expansion tanks are off limits as far as I'm concerned.

Yes I have the 97+. You sure you can slide the later grills in as one piece? I've read that for earlier cars. On my car it looks like the back has to clip to the nose panel before the front slides...

Thanks- that sounds like the exact problem. The inner grill never comfortably stayed locked to the nose panel clips- I would just do my best and clip the grill on over it. I'll bend the tabs slightly...

I would agree with Nick, but I'd recommend against Poly FCABs. IMO, the E36 does not have enough chassis integrity to overcome the crashy nature they have (if you are DDing anyway). They do have some...

You can do sheet metal screws. Look up two toning E46 door panels for a procedure using the same plastic.

You can also buy new pockets- at least you could as of two years ago. That's what I did....
